the mid-century-modern type architecture was omnipresent in Palm Springs, California. Either the buildings are from that era or are inspired by and follow the design language of that time. The post office was abandoned at 7am, other than the occasional car that stopped to drop some letters in the mailbox. To me it is these mundane places that, if observed for a little while, tell me a whole lot about the story and about how a city is ticking….
