Airplane flying over salt dome near O’Hare airport

life has kept me busy over the last many months – so busy that I did not have the time or the nerve to even take out my camera. So, when it was finally October and I had to hit the road to visit clients, I took my cam with me and was out every minute I could spare to photograph. So I ran across these dome shaped buildings, which are apparently for winter salt storage. How very cool! Standing next to them (or driving by them) they also look somewhat futuristic from a 1970’s perspective. Walk around one of the salt domes next to O’Hare airport and you get quite some interesting photo opportunities…
